Custom Woodworking

My name is Jeff and JS Woodworks was born from a passion I have of creating handmade wood items that are just as beautiful as they are functional.

From an early age I learned that I really enjoy working with my hands and building things. I get satisfaction from taking raw materials and turning them into something beautiful. I love nothing more than to see the look on customer's faces when they hold and see the product for the first time.

I can build almost anything from cutting boards, to furniture or home décor. Cutting boards have been the backbone of my business and the demand has kept me pretty busy. My shop is ever growing as I purchase new tools to expand my capabilities.

My cutting boards and butcher blocks are nothing like the cheap, thin ones available at some retail stores. They are heavy, thick and built with high quality hardwood.

All of my hardwood is purchased from a local, third generation family owned business. I hand select every piece of lumber and it is all professionally kiln dried before I build with it.
